ONE LOVELY DRAWING, part 14

This beautiful drawing was done in 1915 by Rudolph Schindler, an architect in Taos, New Mexico. It was part of a proposal for an adobe home for a local doctor, Paul Martin.

This is a museum quality drawing, but it was far too useful to hang in a museum.

Ha,ha, ha,ha! jd, do you mean Hellboy Mike Mignola?? I don't see the similarity. Besides, Mike's bald.

Really lovely, David.

I like the drawing, but the shrub in the foreground left me clueless for a while until I desciphered it was a shrub. At first I thought it was some abandoned breeches in the desert.

dfernitti, I had the same problem. I thought it was a insignia, but odd. couldn't decipher it for a while. And not to be nitpicky (cause I like the picture) but what is the angular shape in the cloud.

OK, I know this is not artistic analysis....sorry.
